• Pivotal is selling a personal flying vehicle called Helix, designed for both new and experienced pilots.

• Helix costs $190,000, includes training, and has a unique design that allows it to switch between vertical and horizontal flight modes for ease of use.

Pivotal, backed by Google co-founder Larry Page, is introducing Helix, an Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft available for purchase at $190,000. Designed for both novice and experienced pilots, Helix is controlled with simple joysticks and fly-by-wire controls, offering ease of use reminiscent of a video game. The two-week training provided by Pivotal at their Palo Alto headquarters is sufficient to operate Helix, which qualifies as a Part 103 ultralight aircraft, eliminating the need for pilot certification.

The aircraft's unique "tilt aircraft" architecture allows it to seamlessly transition between vertical and horizontal flight modes.
